Photography
I prefer to work from high resolution digital photos because I can zoom in to see fine details without the image going blurry.
The better the photo, the better the portrait so please try to get the best photo you can of your pet. Images taken directly off social media sites are not suitable as the quality is just too low. 
​In the case of memorial portraits I understand that we may be limited in what photos we have available. In this instance I request a certain level of artistic interpretation if I have to work from a poorer quality image or a physical printed photo. ​​I may suggest we work at a smaller size or in a looser style depending on photo quality.
​If you are finding it hard to choose, I am always happy to see multiple photos and I can help you pick the best one.
Terms
In order to secure your slot I require a £25 deposit with the remaining balance due on completion. 
Any prices quoted will hold for 3 months.
Multiple subjects, full body portraits, larger sizes and backgrounds are possible with advance negotiation. 
Portraits usually take me around 2-3 weeks and I aim to complete 2-3 per month. 
​Cancellations:
More than 4 weeks notice before starting on your portrait will receive a 100% refund of any money paid. 
Less than 4 weeks before will result in a partial refund, the £25 booking fee will not be refunded.
Once work has started on your portrait any refunds will be discretionary.

Framing
I am not able to offer a framed option at this time but the mounted option will fit standard size shop frames.
If you prefer to use a local framer's service then just choose the "art only" option.

Additional Prints
Giclée prints can be made from scans of the original work if you require additional copies (approx £40 with simple single mat mount)

Gift Vouchers
I can provide a physical gift voucher for the full value of a portrait. It will not show monetary value.
​Vouchers do not have a monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are valid for 24 months from date of purchase.

Postage and Packaging
Postage is included in the price of your portrait to the UK only.
Unfortunately due to the introduction of the new GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) in December 2024,
I am no longer able to ship items to the EU and NI. 
All portraits are presented in protective cellophane bags and will be securely packed to prevent damage.
